Practical Three: Quantitative Drug Design
A number of drug design programs
are available in the Silicon Graphics Teaching Laboratory.
Databases,
including the
Brookhaven Protein Database are also available. If the structure of a receptor
or enzyme is known, it may be possible to design an agonist, antagonist or inhibitor.
Some examples are available
