Cat is a 3rd year PhD student who completed a MSci in Natural Sciences at Churchill College, Cambridge in 2003.

Her part III project was with Prof. Ian Fleming investing the scope of the 1,2 Brook rearrangement.

She is currently working on asymmetric sulfur ylid epoxidation reactions, funded by EPSRC and Stylacats.

As President of the University Boxing Club she likes to box and was the first woman to have a Boxing Varsity Match.
