Welcome to the home of the Goodman Group, based at the Unilever Centre for Molecular Science Informatics in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Cambridge.

We use both experiments and calculations in order to increase our understanding of molecular structure and reactivity, and apply these results to the development of new stereoselective methodology and to total synthesis.

We are also building up databases of chemical information, and developing automated ways of extracting knowledge from these data.
