Rosalind Franklin
Born on this day, 1920; Ob. 1958. An undergraduate at Newnham College, Cambridge, then research at the British Coal Utilization Research Association, before moving to Paris, lead to a research position at King's College, London, where her work lead to the discovery of the structure of DNA. After King's College, she moved to Birkbeck College, London.
